Maximum acoustic effect in a round shape
The round acoustic panel with a 55 mm depth is a highly effective acoustic solution for rooms with increased sound absorption requirements. Thanks to its sound absorption class A according to DIN EN ISO 11654, it reduces reverberation particularly effectively – even when mounted directly on the wall.
The product is ideally suited for offices, meeting rooms, educational institutions, medical practices and prestigious areas where acoustic performance and even sound distribution are paramount.

Applications
Offices & Meeting Rooms
The round acoustic panel effectively reduces reverberation and improves speech intelligibility – particularly suitable for meeting areas, project spaces and communication areas.
Educational and public institutions
Thanks to its sound absorber class A, the system is ideal for classrooms, seminar rooms, libraries or government offices where clear communication is crucial.
Medical practices & healthcare sectors
The high acoustic effectiveness ensures a calmer atmosphere in waiting and treatment rooms and supports the well-being of patients and staff.
Reception areas & foyers
Round acoustic panels have a large-area and uniform acoustic effect and are particularly suitable for open, high-ceilinged rooms with a lot of sound reflection.

FAQ
How is sound absorber class A defined according to DIN EN ISO 11654?
DIN EN ISO 11654 is a classification standard: It categorizes acoustic products into absorber classes A–E based on a weighted sound absorption coefficient (typically αw). Class A represents very high sound absorption (many explanations cite an αw value ≥ 0.90). It is important to note that the standard describes a single-number classification for comparability – it does not replace detailed frequency-dependent measurement curves.
What are the acoustic benefits of a 55 mm installation depth – and why is this relevant?
With porous absorbers (typical for acoustic panels), effectiveness depends heavily on material parameters (e.g., flow resistance), thickness, and mounting. Greater depth generally allows absorption to be more effective in lower frequency ranges, thus increasing overall performance – especially where speech and room resonances are perceived as "booming" or "tired acoustics".
Does the round shape offer any acoustic advantage?
The blanket statement that "round is acoustically better" is not valid. For sound absorption, the primary factors are absorption class (αw), material, thickness, air gap/substructure, and placement in the room – not the contour shape itself.
However, what the round shape often offers in projects are planning and design advantages (e.g., alternative arrangement, zoning, visual calming) that can help to distribute absorber surfaces effectively within the room. The acoustic effectiveness, however, derives from the aforementioned technical parameters.
Can the design be changed later?
Yes, the round acoustic panels are also equipped with interchangeable fabric prints. Changing the motif is quick and easy, requiring no tools thanks to the integrated keder system. This allows motifs to be adapted to seasonal concepts, themes, or existing room designs at any time. The system enables long-term use of the frame and promotes the sustainable use of materials.
The difference in frame depths

The cause of poor room acoustics lies in smooth surfaces: sound waves, such as those from speaking, working, walking and other ambient noises, are reflected by these so-called reverberant surfaces. The more there are, the stronger it reverberates. Are there large window fronts, glass walls, wooden and stone floors, smooth walls, ceilings or tabletops in your rooms? Stand in the middle of the room and clap your hands. What you hear after clapping is called reverberation time. And the longer this is, the more unpleasant it is for our ears, because the sound passes by them several times from different directions.
